EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Education or related field
• Three years of teaching experience in appropriate content or grade level
• OR
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

• Valid Florida’s Educator’s Certificate

OR

• Eligible for District Issued Adjunct Certificate and issued upon hire

*Preference will be given to candidates with elementary, ELA, or Math certification, or candidates who have passed the elementary, ELA, or Math subject area exams.

*Your employment with Pasco County Schools will end at the conclusion of the 2022-2023 school year.

*The District is not obligated to offer you a position for the 2023-2024 school year.

NOTE FOR CURRENT PASCO TEACHERS:  Acceptance of a 1-year limited contract will supersede any annual, professional, or continuing contract that you may currently have with Pasco County Schools. Your employment with Pasco County Schools will end at the conclusion of the 2022-2023 school year. By accepting this 1-year assignment, you are NOT eligible for the district's annual involuntary transfer process and you will be responsible for securing your own position beyond the 2022-2023 school year.
