Responsible for assisting with planning, developing, coordinating, and monitoring the work of employees responsible for performing craft trade activities with a focus on Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, electric, plumbing, masonry, electronic, food services, roofing, flooring, and site development, while also assisting with hands on field work for complicated tasks and tight deadlines.


 


EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE





  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or Vocational Degree from an accredited institution

  • Two years’ experience in a supervisory role directly overseeing a team of skilled craftsperson or building maintenance personnel

  • OR

  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS






  • Valid and current Florida driver license

  • Must maintain a driving record that meets the standards of the District Safe Driver II Plan. Driver license must be maintained as a condition of continued employment

  • All local and state licenses and certifications required for applicable trade


OTHER REQUIREMENTS



  • All hires must submit to and pass an initial drug test and subsequent random drug tests in accordance with the requirements of Florida Statute 112.0455 and the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.
