JOB SUMMARY

 

This employee is responsible for assisting the administrative staff in working with students and carrying out other duties assigned by the principal and other school administrative staff. This employee is responsible for assisting the teacher(s) in organizing and implementing an instructional academic and behavioral program. This employee will work under direct supervision of a principal to assist teachers whose students have disciplinary challenges to complete classroom assignments during in-school suspension (ISS). 

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

• Associate Degree, completion of 60 semester hours of college or passing score of 457 on the ParaPro Assessment. Information about ParaPro can be located at www.ets.org/parapro.

         Conditions of Employment may be considered for highly qualified candidates who are

         willing to complete ParaPro testing during the 20XX-20XX school year.
