Make a difference in the lives of students and families in your community! Pasco County Schools invites you to embark on a rewarding journey as a Bus Driver Trainee. Through our comprehensive, paid training program you can earn your required CDL with endorsements to become a Bus Driver. Our training is paid at a rate of $15 per hour with an automatic promotion to $17.76 per hour upon successful completion of the training program. All full-time positions include our employer-paid basic health care plan and access to our health & wellness centers with a $0 copay.

 

Applicants must have a minimum of five consecutive years of basic driving experience.

 

To ensure safe and reliable transportation for our students, employment is subject to:

• Level II Background Screening
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug/ alcohol testing
• DOT Physical Exam
• Dexterity Test
• Temporary CDL Permit (if you do not currently hold a CDL with a Passenger and School Bus Endorsement)
