JOB SUMMARY

 

Responsible for generating AutoCAD documents for minor construction, remodeling, or maintenance projects within the District. This includes performing drafting services for the Maintenance Department and Facilities Services Department and assisting in the project permitting process. This position will be responsible for the organization and maintenance of the archive plans and the review and filing of as-built drawings.

 

 EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of one year of technical drafting experience in the office of a practicing architect, structural engineer, or other business utilizing the AutoCAD drafting software system.

              OR

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS

• Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Must maintain a driving record that meets the standards of the District Safe Driver II Plan. Driver’s license must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
